President:
Eliot Hartstone, Ph.D.  

Dr. Hartstone founded Spectrum Associates in 1986; and he has designed and directed hundreds of quantitative & qualitative studies.  In addition, Dr. Hartstone has moderated over 800 focus groups across diverse industries and topics.

Dr. Hartstone received his Ph.D. and MA degrees in Sociology from New York University, and his BA degree from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst).  He has published in many professional journals, and is a past-president of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Marketing Association.  

In addition to his extensive research experience, Dr. Hartstone has taught as an Adjunct Lecturer at several colleges and universities, including:  New York University, Skidmore College, the State University of New York at Albany, and John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
